LoopLegend ("we," "our," or "us") operates the LoopLegend caddie assignment platform at looplegendapp.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and role (caddie, member, or dispatcher). For caddies, we also collect availability schedules, experience level, profile photos, and assignment history. For members, we collect caddie ratings that you submit after rounds and any notes you leave on your tee times, which are visible to your club's administrator.
We use your information to operate the LoopLegend platform, including: assigning caddies to tee times, sending SMS notifications about assignments, schedule changes, and emergency broadcasts, displaying caddie and member profiles within your golf club, and improving our assignment algorithm. We send SMS messages to the phone number you provide for assignment notifications, schedule updates, expiration warnings, and announcements from your club dispatcher.
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox — either during account registration or upon first login — you consent to receive SMS messages from LoopLegend related to caddie assignments, schedule updates, and club announcements. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. We will not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your information is shared only within your golf club's LoopLegend account. Dispatchers can see caddie and member profiles, phone numbers, and tee time notes to manage assignments. Members can see assigned caddie names and profile photos. Caddies can see member names for their assignments. Phone numbers are never shared between members and caddies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We use Twilio to deliver SMS messages, and your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for message delivery.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords, secure HTTPS connections, and access controls. Your data is stored on secure cloud servers.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see Section 8), your personal data is removed immediately. A small amount of aggregate or anonymized operational data (e.g., historical loop counts attributed to an anonymized caddie record) may be retained for legitimate business purposes such as club-level analytics, in compliance with applicable law.
You can delete your account at any time from within the LoopLegend app. The path is: Profile (bottom navigation) → scroll to the bottom → Danger Zone → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm → Confirm. Deletion happens immediately in a single database transaction and permanently removes your profile, email, phone number, profile photo, assignment history, caddie ratings, availability data, push notification tokens, and audit log entries from our systems.
If you have questions about data we've retained for legitimate business reasons after your account is deleted (see Section 7), you can reach us at support@looplegendapp.com. Email is not an alternative account-deletion method — use the in-app path above to delete your account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
